Good Friday morning! Well, my transparency transfers were somewhat of a nightmare. I can not get one to transfer to canvas. I get impatient when 4 or 5 of them turn out bad...so impatient I moved back to Sheer Heaven where I know I will get a transfer that works. This is what I came up with. Everything was transferred except the faint writing & the music. Those are both stamps. The image came from one of my art book cds that I purchased recently on Ebay. The photo is 6x8. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Diane...
the piece is stunning!!! sorry to hear you had some issues with your transfers...it all worked out in the end...this looks amazing....
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!
Hugs
Diana
this is a really nice piece. it is a drag when the transfers don't cooperate.... i will have to pick up some sheer heaven to try. i don't know if you have tried a caulk transfer from a photocopy, but those seem to be the most foolproof for me.... just hate having to go to kinko's & all of the rubbing off of paper. regardless, the end result is great!
Hi Diane,
Thank you for the lovely message! I am so excited, I can hardly stand it!!! Over use of exclamation points is sympton #1!!
I love this transfer. Can you imagine a sisters session of crafting..you bring yours, I'll bring mine. A kind of BYOS (or Bring Your Own Sister), if you will?! Oy the things we could create..:)
Have a great weekend!!!

Thanks for coming by. I think I want to try out the "new" transfer paper, I want to see what others do with it. We lived in Pasadena for 15 years. My daughter (26)and I visited this summer...have you seen that Chandelier hanging over the street in Glendale??? I would love to know what places we should visit when we visit again next summer. We didn't time it right to go to the Rose Bowl this time...have you been recently, is it still full of good stuff...or to expensive? Laurie
Most amazing, as always!
I am so impressed by how much art you do!!! I also really appreciate your "help animals" icon, and wonder how I can put one on my site.
Back to transfers, I have all the stuff right here....and, somehow, keep getting side-tracked. It's that "do the familiar thing" issue.
Thanks to everyone for your very kind comments! Chaska, for the animmal site, there is a a list on the left side of the page for you to link to their website. You can pick out the style you want, copy & paste the text box to your blog. You'll need to go to layout & add a gadget to your blog using the picture option. Then...you can paste the text box to the blog. You can see they have different options such as, hunger, breast cancer etc.
Very beautiful transfer!
