New Decoupage

I guess I am on a roll with this decoupaging. First off, you will see my little apple. The top lifts off of this. The next one is my little piggy. She came out pretty cute. I did both of these pieces yesterday afternoon.
I also took a collage class on Saturday that was rather interesting. It involved some gold leafing in the composition. The picture looked hideous when I left the class but I also worked on that yesterday to try & salvage it. It's a bit larger
than I normally do. Anyway.....I am not sure if I will post that one or not. I like it a lot better than I did but I'm still not too sure.
Happy Monday Everyone!

Oh Hi Diane,
I love the apple. Wonderful colors and a great funky look to it. Miss Piggy is lovely as well.

Did you just use ordinary papers for the these and what was your medium?

Tweedles -- that's me said...

Hi Diane
It's me Tweedles
My monitor burned up the other nite, so I kinda went through withdrawls until mommy could borrow a flat screen from work until the weekend- and then she goes to buy one. I am back in business now. I love your piggie and the apple. How beautiful!
Moms did this to the bathroom down stairs I think. They uses shredded wrinkled tissue paper- and glued it to the wall and painted it egg plant. Its pretty with wrinkles and all- is that kinda like what you do? Well I know yours is art- and beautiful but when Gail said she had not started ripping yet- it made me think of what moms did.
