Missing Dexter on his 5TH birthday

Good Morning! Today I am posting some journal pages of my sweet Dexter who passed away on July 4th this year. Today would have been his 5th birthday & I can't begin to tell you what a hole this has left in our hearts. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him terribly. There was a beautiful sunrise this morning & I managed to grab a shot of that too. We love & miss you very special boy!

How sweet for you Diane, to remember Dexter on his birthday... and what a wonderful sunrise to celebrate! Do we ever forget these wonderful friends of ours? They live forever in our hearts always at their best, funniest, sweetest, happiest moments.

Diane; art is a way we can express our feelings. I love how you expressed yours with your art here. I fully understand your feelings; my husband and I lost our beagle, Katie, awhile ago and it's left such a void here. I miss her each and every day!

Thoughts of you.....Marilyn

So sorry to learn of your loss Diane. The beautiful sunrise was Dexter's sign that he is still with you in spirit...he knew you would need it this day.
