Friday Flower Girl

I love a collage with BIG flowers in it! I put this together yesterday on an 11x14" canvas. Everything was image transferred except the edge of the canvas. I used Sheer Heaven
for the transfers. The only thing I wish I hadn't done was to brush on a coat of Golden Glaze (gold). It really muted some of the bright colors. It was so vibrant before I slapped that on..UGH! Oh well. I'll try another one with no glaze this time. Live & learn.
Happy Friday, everyone. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

This is just beautiful Diane. You are the Queen of transfers! I haven't had much luck with them, but I haven't given up either.

she's really lovely. sometimes i have luck scrubbing off unwanted washes or glazes with rubbing alcohol- but it could damage the underneath too. i wish i was as adept at transfers as you are (and at putting things together!)

oh wow Diane...this is amazing...I love the large flowers and her face is perfect....this is really a neat technique....

I was outside with Cole this morning...he wanted to check on his mini Snowman...he is so sweet...yesterday after we made him he carried his stuffed snowman all over and kept giving him big hugs...it was adorable....
He says hello!!! and loves the lady in the painting today...

Hugs and have a wonderful weekend...and one day when I am in your neck of the woods..we will head out for some of that pinkberry forzen yogurt...and perhaps grab a cupcake too...lol

Very beautiful. The second is my favorite, and 11 x 14, you have started to go bigger!

I love both of them. I like the second one because I think of old fashioned chenille for some reason and I love that look.
