I am back to ripping paper! My friend, Minnie at http://herminnie.blogspot.com/asked me to make a torso for her that she could display some of her jewelry pieces on. She wanted something with muted colors. This torso is about 22 inches tall & Minnie, I hope you like what I came up with. My next project.....a Giraffe! Can't wait to start that one! Happy Sunday Everyone!

Thanks to all for the very nice comments. I have purchased torsos from Michaels & Somerset. The one posted today came from a neighborhood store called Pandora's Paintbox. I purchased my larger mannequin (shown in an earlier post) from Ebay. That one is plastic while the others are a paper mache.
so clever! your friend will REALLY like the torso background!
diane............over the top.....i love my torso.....you magically picked my favorite colors.....turquoise....it is wonderful, i can't wait to bring her home, my jewelry will be wonderful and will be such a statement.....
Oh, Diane, it's beautiful--so many wonderful papers! I like the torsos in your earlier post too:)
Hi diane..thanks for the message! Love, love, love the torso!! I saw a woman demo decoupage on a giant giraffe at a trade show in England..it was pretty amazing! Love patchwork anyways..but I can't wait to see what you do!
